Support for young mothers in Tito

In June, the Exeo Lab team, the Italian partner of the WHOW project, organised a series of training days for eight young mothers and their children. The meetings were held at the Cooperativa Sociale ‘La Mimosa’ in Tito, with whom a memorandum of understanding was formalised to guarantee the best possible support to the participants, responding to their different needs. During these days, the mothers had the opportunity to participate in coaching sessions, training and interpersonal exchanges.
The main objective was to strengthen their self-confidence and develop key professional skills. The participants expressed great appreciation for the training contents and found the proposed activities extremely useful. These enabled them to consolidate their competences, discover themselves better and hone their skills. The trainers managed to establish a strong connection with the participants, who felt involved and stimulated.

The presence of the children further enriched the environment, creating an emotionally engaging and supportive atmosphere. The WHOW project’s training days were a significant step towards empowerment of new mothers, offering training in digital skills, personal development and practical childcare support. Participants rated the workshop very positively, emphasising the relevance and quality of the content, as well as the engaging and supportive environment.

The training fostered a strong sense of community among the participants. The sharing of inspiring stories and best practices helped build relationships and support networks that are crucial for new mothers trying to balance work and family responsibilities. The training successfully achieved its objectives, providing valuable training and support to new mothers. We are extremely satisfied with the results achieved!
